This is a custom inorganic terrazzo from yuanshen terrazzo. The body is a warm beige, and the aggregate consists of 0.5 to 1 cm red natural marble chips densely packed throughout the slab. From a distance, it resembles a rammed-earth wall studded with crushed red brick; up close, it looks like red beans scattered over rice cake—warmth with a solid, lively pulse.
The beige base comes from a blend of inorganic cement and natural mineral powder, close in tone to dried straw or aged cotton linen. It is neither glaring nor cold. Because this is an inorganic formula free of resin, it carries a Class A fire rating, offering peace of mind in public spaces. The cementitious body is compacted to high density with low water absorption, standing up better than organic materials to time and humidity.
The aggregate is the star of this panel. The red marble chips are strictly graded between 0.5 and 1 cm, uniform in size and densely arranged. Embedded in the beige base, they are like plump red beans settled in rice paste, or shards of pottery revealed in a rammed-earth wall. Red is inherently eye-catching, yet because the grains are consistent in size and evenly distributed, the overall effect is not chaotic but rather a disciplined vitality. Each marble fragment retains the angular, rough edges of natural fracture, creating a tactile contrast against the finer cement paste surrounding it. The surface feels genuinely granular under the fingers.
Performance-wise, this inorganic terrazzo inherits the reliability of cement-based materials. It is hard, compression-resistant, and abrasion-resistant, suitable for both interior and exterior walls and floors. The slabs can be cut and drilled like conventional stone, and installation crews can apply them with standard cement mortar wet-lay methods without special training. A factory-applied surface sealer prevents dust and stains from penetrating, so daily maintenance requires only a damp mop or neutral pH cleaner.
The pairing of a beige base with densely packed red aggregate creates a temperament that is warm yet forceful. Used for residential living-room floors, the beige keeps the space feeling bright and welcoming, while the red chips act as scattered accents that break monotony without noise. In restaurants or retail spaces, it carries an earthy, grounded quality, and the visual rhythm of the red grains gives the environment a memorable identity. Compared to quarrying natural marble, this approach avoids mountain destruction, and production waste can be recycled and re-pressed, keeping costs manageable.
In short, this is an inorganic terrazzo with a beige base and densely packed red marble chips—warm, durable, and easy to install. It is a fitting choice for projects that want a space with both temperature and character.
