Geometric Terrazzo JD03F(M1)

The base of this terrazzo flooring adopts a warm off-white tone. It is not a harsh industrial pigment but a soft, earthy hue closer to natural limestone or handmade pottery. Under artificial lighting, it creates an inviting and relaxed dining atmosphere. As a background color, it neither competes with other design elements nor dominates the space; instead, it brightens the open food court area, making zones with limited ceiling height or natural light feel more expansive.

What truly distinguishes this terrazzo flooring is the selection and arrangement of its aggregates. yuanshen terrazzo chose natural grey wood-grain marble as the primary aggregate and precision-cut it into rectangular and square pieces. Rather than scattering these marble chips randomly, the design team pre-planned their layout across the off-white base, forming a continuous and rhythmic geometric pattern. The rectangular units elongate the spatial perspective, while the square modules provide stable visual anchors. Together, they interweave like a vast woven grid stretching across the floor.

The grey wood-grain marble carries delicate veining and a restrained grey tone, creating a gentle warm-cool contrast against the off-white base. Viewed up close, each marble piece retains crisp, straight edges from precision cutting, embedded within the fine inorganic cement matrix to create a tactile interplay between rigid geometry and soft paste. Because this terrazzo flooring uses an inorganic cement-based formula, these aggregates are locked firmly into the body and will not loosen or dislodge under years of foot traffic or cleaning.
